That’s how celebrity chef Margaret Fulton described the chicken produced by our suppliers, Angus and Sonya Dowling.
The Dowlings run their farm, at Murringo near Young, using organic farming systems and land management. Descendant of a long line of farmers who have lived off the land since the 1850s, they are passionate about the sustainability of their land.
Their chickens are raised in open air barns, which allow the sun to shine in. They have access to free range outside in organic pastures. They are fed a balanced diet of mixed grains and legumes to encourage optimal health and wellbeing.
